They are two hazelnut cookies with creamy dark chocolate in between.

Cannoli is a traditional Italian pastry made from dough rolled into tubes and fried.

They are then filled with a cream made from ricotta cheese and other fillings.

Capuccino

Cappuccino is espresso with steamed and foamed milk. The coffee content is much stronger than you might find in a latte. Kate fell in love with the drink after her first sip!

Panini is a flat bread commonly used for sandwiches.

Pizza Margherita from Dear You

Pizza Margherita

The pizza Kate mentions in the book is called Pizza Margherita. It’s named after a queen of Italy. The traditional pizza is topped with mozzarella cheese, sliced tomatoes and fresh basil.

Tiramisu is a rich layered cake with flavors of coffee and chocolate.
